Acknowledge Harassment

Acknowledge harassment when you see or hear it.
Don't condone verbal harassment with silence.  When you see a man harassing a woman, or making derogatory remarks about her body speak up.  While your never want to put your personal safety in jeopardy it is important to acknowledge what was said and that it was not okay.  You can step in and tell the harraser that what he said was unacceptable, or let the target of the harrassment know you witnessed it and make sure she feels safe.  Watch your own language and words to make sure you are never making a woman feel unsafe or violated.
